Ending For My Creative Studies

Yes, this the title of one of my course this year, but it’s also something that fascinates me, both as a creative individual and as someone who cares about the things that nourish goodness in society.

A degree in creative writing was ultimately a lot of fun. It was also a lot of hard work, and incredibly fulfilling. It was cathartic, self-challenging and revelatory. The writing we did was creative, was a product of creativity, and the creative process was something that was discussed in the commentaries we submitted alongside our portfolios for assessment. The commentary that complemented a mind map was supposed to illuminate the creativity: where the idea came from, how it was developed, what reading was done to supplement the subject and style, what research was done, and demonstrated one’s understanding of genre, style and solution.

It was in my degree in Creative Studies that this “process” of creativity was explored more thoroughly in our Theories of Creativity module. Here, my eyes were opened to the theory and scientific work that has gone into explaining, or attempting to explain, creativity as a concept and process. As a “writer” (for I’m still weary of awarding myself that title) I was fascinated by the almost mechanical workings of the creativity blog.

My interest in the subject broadened with the management literature, societal theory and views of guest speakers on the course, and my focus has shifted from how people attempt to explain creativity (for that, in my opinion, is a discussion which will never really end) to the purpose of creativity in its social context.

Why is creativity important? It is the seed of innovation and the reason for development, both on a technological and natural level. It is also something within the possession of every man and woman. Why is it, then, that creativity is often perceived as being something bestowed upon certain people in society? There are many myth surrounding creativity, which have given way to stereotypes and alienated some people from perceiving themselves as creative. What effects has this had on our society? How does a lack of creativity manifest itself?

I hope to pursue this topic in my course dissertation, specifically looking at social groups who are deprived of creativity, whether it be through opportunity or self-perception, and the effect of an input of creativity into their community. Is creativity something that is necessary to the well-being of everybody?

Conclusion, I hope everyone was enjoy on this subject - Creative Studies.

Thematic Project - Report

Report for why men feel bored when shopping with a woman?

Shopping is the activity of selection and also purchasing. It can be related to a leisure activity which is buying branded product and also the things which is not necessary like clothes , accessories for hair , makeup etc. As well as an economic one which is product that is necessary for us like food, water etc. So, for woman shopping is something that can make them feel satisfy on what they have purchase and at the same they there are enjoying the process of shopping as they can explore and see so many latest information and gain their information from shopping .Woman will explore the whole shop, choose and compare the price carefully before they decide to purchase it. But for men, is different with woman. Shopping for them is something that is wasting time and also money. If they want to buy something, they will go to the shop and buy which is no relate to the process of bargain, or comparing the price of the product.

On the above we have explain what is the definition of shopping and also the view of woman and man about shopping. So back to the question that we had, after doing some research we find out the reason why men feel bored when shopping with a woman .Here are the reasons that we have figure out why men feel bored. According to the information we get from the internet. The shopping test result show that more than 50 % guy was dislike accompany women to shopping. Most of the reason is the women have no idea to manage their timing during shopping and for my own experience, I still remember that I’ve accompany my ex girl friend to Time Square for select the present for my parent. We have spent the whole day for choosing the only one present. Actually I feel very tired on walking the whole day in the shopping mall without any rest for that. And for girls they will lose their mind when see the sale sign show out from the shop. They will just nonstop on trying out the clothes and at this time what else should a guy do? They can only stay outside the fitting room and wait them to satisfy on trying every outfit that they like. Even though the clothes are not suitable to them and guys still have to lie to them. It is to take care of the feelings of a woman and do not want to hurt them and make them unhappy. The different between men and a woman are man pretty good in figure out where and what they want to get. If they need a pair of jeans they will go to the specified department to grab one and pay.

Another reason is the shopping desire of a woman make men feel bored about it. Woman hopes to get more time and also money to satisfy their desire. Like the statement that one of our group member had mention is woman have no idea to manage their timing during shopping. They have waste a lot of time on just seeing and comparing the prices and it could be end up on buying nothing. For the money is, woman needs more money to buy more things especially those cute and sweet things that are not necessary. Guys also prefer to use their leisure time to hang out with their friends, stay at home and read their books or doing something that they are interested in.

After we have mention about time, shopping desire, and also tiredness can make a men feel bored, there are still have others things which are woman shop like Santa, man feel like Scrooge. According the “Men buy, Women Shop”, that’s make a men become a scrooge during the payment. Women always shop like a Santa; they always buy stuff without seeing the pricing. They always lose their mind when seeing the words of “SALES”. There have much kind of sales in Malaysia such as X’mas sales, Mega sales, Merdeka sales and so on. Besides that, the words of “DISCOUNT” are one of the favorite for a woman. They will use the discount coupon, discount of credit card rebate, and discount during J card day/Isetan day, and etc. In the end, men have to pay for their woman. It’ll make the phobia for a man through shopping. Besides that, men will feel embarrassed when shopping with woman especially when they went into those shop are having less male shopper insider something like Woman Lingerie Shop that can make them feel embarrassed .

Other than that, men buy, woman shop also is another reason that make a men feel bored. Women shop reluctantly, cautiously, infrequently and alone. Ever the hunter-gatherers, women view shopping expeditions as precision-targeted surgical strikes. As for fashion, men prefer “style”. Men judge clothes not just on their look or feel, but on their robustness. That’s why many of gentles are boring when they got to shopping with a woman. Women are happy to meander through sprawling clothing and accessory collections or detour through the shoe department. They like to glide up glass escalators past a grand piano, or spray a perfume sample on themselves on their way to, maybe, making a purchase. For men, shopping is a mission. They are out to buy a targeted item and flee the store as quickly as possible. Last and not the least is about the family. When those married couple go out for shopping they will sure bring their children along with them. From the above we also know that when a woman are crazy shopping they will forgot and didn’t take care the children and men will have to take this jobs to take care of the children. As we also know that men hates to do it because sometimes they do not know how to please the children whenever they are crying.

In conclusion, here are the reasons that why man feels bored when shopping with a woman .All this statement is through the research that we have found from the internet. We even got interview and ask about some of our friends on what they think about why a man will feeling bored when shopping with a woman.
And this, is our latest mind map.

Assignment 1 - Thematic Project

This week is gonna to discuss about the assignment, which is find a topic, and define the problem statement, at last is find the solution way. At the early stage, we find the topic as " The different between woman and man thought". Unfortunately, our lecturer said that is too abstract, and it's is more to master level research. So we gonna find another topic as our assignment. In the conclusion: our topic is " Why man feel bored when shopping with a woman?"

I had been doing some research for this topic. It's come out many funny and creative answer:

1) Men buy, woman shop

2) Men say they've been embarrassed by their partner in a store

Men’s feel embarrassed when shopping with him partner because when they go into the shop, they will feel everyone was looking at him. Those shops are full of female and lack of male, so that men will feel shame on it. Even though there was no people will realize a men inside the shop, but men will feel that it was disconnected with female. Because female was busying their fashion gossip and nobody will care about men.

3) Woman shop like Santa, Man feel like Scrooge

Thematic Project

It was many public holiday during week5 which is on Monday and Thursday. But we still have homework for the subject of Creative Study which is Thematic Project.

The objective of this project is to create a work that carries a theme/topic set by each individual group. Student will work a group of 5persons; maximizing the structure process of creativity to produce new ideas or finding new uses for old ideas. Most importantly, all ideas must carry innovative value and not just about technological advancement but also about making changes and improvement to the way things are done.

This Project will involve a technique of creative study on it. Which is Lesson6 "What If Technique". "What If technique" or escape method is a provocative technique and can lead to spectacular new ideas and approaches to problems. Escape method encourages the doer in asking "WHAT IF" question as a way of looking for potential problems and opportunities. "WHAT IF" question might not lead to a particular idea, however the more often it is being practiced, the more productive it will become.

Today, is to decide what topic that we using for the discussion. The early topic that we choose is "What's the different between women and men thought". Well, even our group only have four people, but we had been many research for this topic. Unfortunately, lecturer had band our topic. It is because our topic over general, and it's more to the master level thesis.

After half an hour for our group meeting, we are come out a new idea which is "WHY DOES MEN FEEL BORE WHEN SHOPPING WITH A WOMEN". Let's see how was our progress on next week presentation! Blessing us!

Barcelona, Spain - The temple of the Gaudi

The Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, often simply called the Sagrada Família, is a massive Roman Catholic church under construction in Barcelona Catalonia, Spain. Construction began in year 1882 and continues to this day.

The original designer is Antoni Gaudi. He is a genius in construction and design. Unfortunately, he was die in an accident. He worked on the project for over 40 years, devoting the last 15 years of his life entirely to the endeavor, the project is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

There's total 18 towers on it. Try to look forward all the interior design, symbolism and the geometric of the building, I just can describe by "amazing". It's impossible design by a human, except Gaudi. He's such a genius.

Beside the temple, there has many Gaudi's production:

This is Santiago Calatrava, The Path Terminal NYC.

This is an apartment building, commissioned by the developer Pere Milá i Camps and constructed from the ground up from 1906 to 1910

My Comment: He was such a genius in Art for the design, and also the logical thinker in Construction. Conclusion is, he's a left + right brainier. And I was sharing him building during my Managerial Communication class..Antoni Gaudi - My favourite artist.

Digi Creative Design..

What is DiGi?

Is is one if the telecommunication in Malaysia, which always challenge with Maxis (also one of the telecommunication in Malaysia). I very enjoy all the DiGi's advertisement, because it very funny and interesting.

At the end of 2006, DiGi relaunched its brand campaign after 18 months of absence with Yellow Coverage Fellow (or more officiously called, YCF) through a series of television commercials. Originally called Yellow Man, until renamed by DiGi's marketing team, YCF was created by Naga DDB, DiGi's advertising agency.

Entitled “DiGi Yellow“, and taglined “DiGi’s WIDEST Coverage. Always with you.“, the commercials incorporated an upbeat theme song "I Will Follow You" that is based on the 1963 Billboard Hot 100 No.1 song "I Will Follow Him" by Little Peggy March. Public response to the campaign was very positive as "I Will Follow You" had become a catch phrase among the Malaysian public.

The Brand campaign has the top unaided recall currently in a Malaysian Q1 2007 survey conducted by Research International and is one of the most successful brand campaigns in Malaysia.

This is the "yellow man" who alway appear in DiGi's advertisement.

My Comment: I have found a DiGi's advertisement in Youtube URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlFXGS7I-TA
This is the advertisement with the song "I will follow you". Because of this song, it's make DiGi become popular in Malaysia. I very like all the DiGi's advertisement, it was such amazing! You can enjoy one year one new advertisement for DiGi per year.
The another DiGi's advertisement is "Hou Wong Ar" which means "very lucky ar". And here is the URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NocPIG3UUDU
This is a Chinese's DiGi's advertisement, which is describe the "yellow man" in DiGi. The meaning "Wong" in the ads is "yellow". So, now you know why DiGi love by Malaysian..

P/S: Too bad I'm using Maxis..Hahaha..

The victims of divorce - children.

When people start a new relationship, it is as though Cinderella and her Prince stepped out of that childhood story. A more realistic way to look at it is to think of it as two people who are running for office, campaigning to be in the other person’s life. Forget that it is not who they will be later in life. We are too busy getting the other person to “choose us” so we can live happily ever after. There is, bad habits early on in the relationship we never see. For instance, leaving dirty clothes scattered, drinking directly out of the juice carton, putting a dirty knife back in the drawer and watching from around the corner as they lick it clean, washing is too much effort. Both sides hide their bad habits when they begin dating, because they are too busy running for the highest office in the country, ultimately the office of marriage and parenthood.

This fantasy life fades as people grow together in a relationship. Unfortunately, about sixty percent grow apart during the marriage.

When the marriage ends, it is like a house set on fire. All desired hopes, dreams and commitment cherished by both sides, up in smoke. But, we forget that the child of this relationship has yet to lay the foundation of their lives.

Divorce on any level, is devastating. For children, their warm, safe world is suddenly shattered like a broken toy, in many pieces. When parents begin to divorce, do they really stop and think about the children? All too often, the children fall under the invisible heading of “power base” or worse yet, “negotiable”.

A child’s life during a divorce is like a roller coaster, going up minute and down the next. Parents are keeping score of their child’s affection as though they were at a sporting event. Both parents fear losing ground as though their competition, the other parent, chips away at their own individual “power base”. This is an automatic reaction during a divorce. If only parents would stop for a moment and realize, that children have unconditional love for each of them.

Children were not beamed down from space to earth. They were conceived and brought into this world with the greatest expectations, and most of all love. By two people, the child calls mother and father. These two people have forgotten that being a parent, role model and teacher, means not putting down the other. Or using the children to emotionally beat up the “competition”. Because, being a parent is a privilege!

A divorce is like a funeral. Of course, there is no casket or service. But the process is the same.
“Funeral” services begin when the parties enter their lawyers office, (I call them legal funeral representatives) they help prepare for the death of their clients marriage.

The lawyers seek out personal, confidential information about you, only to file it in a public record for the world to see.

Attached to this public record filing is a detailed financial description, (yours) of personal property and assets acquired during the marriage.

Somewhere between page 11 or 15 of the divorce agreement, your children are listed, like an asset, by name and age. And on yet another page, you will find the “children”, stating who gets custody when, on what days, with specific times and for how long. Cannot forget the holiday schedules, this appears on yet another page of the divorce decree. This page looks more like a major event schedule, trading odd and even years off during the holidays.

If parents would think for a moment and get off their “power base”, they should be able to work out these very private details among themselves.

Months, and in some cases years later a judge, who I refer to as the coroner (no disrespect intended) sit before these strangers, in a court of law, with people who once vowed to love, honor and cherish each other all the days of their lives, ask if all parties are in agreement, with the tap of his gavel, signs the death certificate (known more commonly as the divorce decree.

I for one think this process is a crime. We allow total strangers to settle our once very happy lives. The greater crime, however, is the children, divided up among the parents like a piece of property. They are the “Voiceless Victims.”

My Comment: I have many friends around me who is born in a divorce family. Normally the reason for their parents divorce is cause of the violence of the husband. And this make the children become a negative thinkingness. It will influence the growing in their whole life, children still young don't have a mature thinking to face on the violence, but why the adult same so? Above is one of the article i share to you guys, I hope you all have a same feeling with me for the victims - children..

Mumbai Terriorist Attack..

The November 2008 Mumbai attacks were a series of ten coordinated attacks which began across Mumbai (Bombay), the largest city in India and the country's financial capital, on 26 November 2008 and ended on 29 November 2008 when Indian Security forces finally regained control of all attack sites. At least 172 people, including at least 31 foreign nationals, have been confirmed dead and at least 293 have been injured. Eight attacks took place in South Mumbai:at the crowded Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) railway station; at two five-star hotels: the Oberoi Trident at Nariman Point, and Taj Mahal Palace & Tower near the Gateway of India; at the Leopold Cafe, a popular tourist restaurant in Coloba; at the Cama Hospital; at the Nariman House Jewish center; at the Metro Adlbas movie theatre; and at the Mumbai Police Headquarters where at least three high-level officers, including the chief of the Anti Terrorism Squad of Maharashtra, were killed by gunfire. There was also an explosion at Mazagaon docks in Mumbai's port area. The tenth incident involved a taxi blast at Vile Parle near the airport but it is uncertain whether this is connected with the South Mumbai attacks.

A previously unknown organization identifying itself as the Deccan Mujahideen claimed responsibility by e-mail sent to news organizations. The email, sent from a Russia-based email address, originated in Pakistan. However, the affiliations of the attackers have not been confirmed.

A Pakistani news portal 'The News' claims that White House has said that there is no evidence of any Pakistani involvement in the attack. India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said the attacks probably had "external linkages", believing that the attack could not have occurred without the help of the Pakistani government. According to police reports, the one terrorist who was captured alive disclosed that the attackers belonged to the Pakistan based Lashkar-e Taiba Islamist group, which may have severe consequences for India–Pakistan relations. However, Pakistan denied supporting any terrorist organization, and considers all terrorists as having no religion at all. The Indian Mujahideen terrorist group had also threatened in September 2008 to carry out bombings at sites in Mumbai. According to some news reports, a militant holding hostages at the Oberoi told an Indian TV channel that they wanted all 'Mujahideen' in Indian prisons released before they released their hostages. He also indicated that there were seven terrorists holding hostages at that location. Other reports indicate that this demand was made through a hostage at the Mumbai Chabad House, in a call to the Israeli embassy in new Delhi . Experts have conflicting views as to whether Al Qaeda played a role in the attacks. There are also suggestions that Indian domestic terrorism was behind the attacks.

After two days of gunfire and explosions, the attack was incorrectly reported to have ceased as of the early morning of 28 November in Mumbai. The fires were out and soldiers were leading hostages and holed-up guests to safety and removing bodies of those killed in the attacks. Nariman House and the Oberoi Trident were cleared of hostages by Indian commandos. Five hostages were killed at the Jewish center. Later news reports indicated that there were still two or three terrorists in the Taj, with explosions heard and gunfire exchanged. Fires were also reported as having been caused at the ground floor of the Taj with plumes of smoke arising from the first floor. Severe damage has been reported to the Taj, with a dome, and parts of the Heritage Wing of the Taj reported to have been destroyed. National Security Guards action resulted in the conclusion of the Taj encounter, with three terrorists reported killed.

The attacks have damaged India's already strained relationship with Pakistan.India handed over two demarches to Pakistan -- one was submitted at the Foreign Office in Islamabad by Indian High Commissioner Satyabrata Pal. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs also summoned Pakistan High Commissioner Shahid Malik on 1 December 2008 to lodge a formal protest over Pakistan's failure to curb terrorism emanating from its soil.

My Comment: They are such creative to think about attack all the 5stars hotel.. I don't know should say them strong in creativity or horrible..

Poem?? Poet??

1) Love is a weird sense. If you feel happy you'll like fly to the sky. If you feel sad, and your mood will become heavy like mountain.

2) Ice Cream melting is just behaving like any other bit of frozen, just like love, suddenly exposed to warm air.

3) Once you use more credit card, you'll gain more effort.
Once you have more love, you'll get more trouble.

4) Love is same with time, if the time was gone it will never chase it back. If the love is gone, you'll never get it again.

5) You will fall in love with your car during the first look, just like you to your lover and with yous first look.

6) It does not have any race gap in love.. Just like duck and a cat, they will share everything between each other.

7) Men's like to have a lot of bad attitude. It's many as the quantum of rubbish..

Analogy , Metaphor and Similes

Analogy
Analogy is both the cognitive process of transferring information from a particular subject (the analogue or source) to another particular subject (the target), and a linguistic expression corresponding to such a process. In a narrower sense, analogy is an inference or an argument from one particular to another particular, as opposed to deduction, induction and abduction, where at least one of the premises or the conclusion is general. The word analogy can also refer to the relation between the source and the target themselves, which is often, though not necessarily, a similarity, as in the biological nation of analogy.

Metaphor
Metaphor is a rhetorical trope that describes a first subject as being or equal to a second object in some way. Thus, the first subject can be economically described because implicit and explicit attributes from the second subject are used to enhance the description of the first. This device is known for usage in literature, especially in poetry, where with few words, emotions and associations from one context are associated with objects and entities in a different context. In a simpler definition, it is comparing two things without using the words "like" or "as."

Similes
A simile is a technique that uses words such as "like" or "as" to compare two ideas. Even though similes and metaphors are both forms of comparison, similes allow the two ideas to remain distinct in spite of their similarities, whereas metaphors seek to equate two ideas despite their differences. For instance, a simile that compares a person with a bullet would go as follows: "John was a record-setting runner and as fast as a speeding bullet." A metaphor might read something like, "John was a record-setting runner. That speeding bullet could zip past you without you even knowing he was there."

The story I reading: Dear John

Dear John is a 2006 novel written by American author Nicholas Sparks, explores the common romance theme of love after loss. Sparks has written both The Notebook and A Walk to Remember, which have been made to into films.

Dear John is a three part book that starts out with 23 year-old John Tyree, an army officer. It is set in Wilmington, NC and Lenior, NC from 2000 to 2006.

Summary:

The Prologue starts of with the ultimate question, "What does it mean to truly love another?" John Tyree watches as he relives every memory, emotion, and touch while falling in love with Savannah Lynn Curtis.

In Part I, John as a little kid struggled with finding the balance between himself and his father. While on leave from the Army, he meets Savannah. She goes to UNC Chapel Hill in North Carolina and is in Wilmington, NC to work for Habitat for Humanity. They become quick friends after John dives into deep ocean water in order to retrieve her fallen purse. At a bonfire, with wild college students, John meets Savannah's friend Tim Wheddon. John quickly learns of how inviting and mature Savannah and Tim really are. After the initial meet, John and Savannah meet again at the beach where he teaches her to surf. They then quickly become more than just friends. At the end of John's leave, Savannah meets him at the pier. She tells him that she thinks John's distant father has Asperger's Syndrome, a developmental disorder, which would explain why John's dad is distant, has the same exact schedule and conversation everyday, and is only interested in his gigantic coin collection. After having this conversation, John gets angry and accidentally hits Tim in the nose, breaking it. Savannah and Tim forgive John for what he did. Before he departs, he promises Savannah he'll marry her when he completes his deployment.

In Part II, John comes home on leave again and he and Savannah spend a very close night together while at one of the empty project houses for Habit for Humanity. Savannah writes him a letter, beginning with Dear John that promises her love to him. John is very excited to come home to Savannah; however, due to 9/11, John feels the duty to reenlist in the Army. After years away from each other, Savannah writes John another letter. It starts with Dear John and ends with good-bye.

In Part III, John's father dies after suffering from several heart attacks. He sees Savannah one day and finds out that she married Tim and has been living with Tim and his brother Alan, who has Autism. Tim, while in his death bed, asks John to make Savannah happy and marry her when he passes away. John, making the decision of his life, sells his father's coin collection in order for Tim to find treatment for his Melanoma. John decides to do this after realizing that if a man is selfless enough to let the love of his life go to another man, than his life is worth living. Tim was on his death bed but still cared for Savannah's safety and happiness. The treatment for Tim works and he is released from the hospital. John does not regret ever loving Savannah.

The Epilogue ends while John is watching Savannah. He sees her staring at the full moon, proving her unending love for John.

Comment:

I love Nicholas Sparks books and movies. However I defiantly feel that you need to like that type of genre of writing because if not then you are not going to start liking it just because of his books. But I am a big fan of his, the more movies the better. And I share this book “Dear John” with you guys to hope that you guys love this books too..

Second lecture: Mind Mapping

This week lecture is teaching about mind mapping. At the beginning of the class, lecturer has explained what the meaning of mind mapping is. He tests us who was using right brain, and who is using left brain. The people who using left brain is expert in mathematics, logical thinking and sensitive on numeric. Right brain users are most sensitive on coloring, creative and like to dream. And I was a right brain user.

This is a kind of mind mapping which draw by computer

This is another kind of mind mapping which is “handmade”

Mind Mapping and Me

A mind map is a diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged radials around a central key word or idea. Mind maps are used to generate, visualize, structure, and classify ideas, and as an aid in study, organization, problem solving, decision making, and writing.
I remember the first semester for my degree is to take a subject called "critical thinking". During the class, i have study the mind map too. Unfortunately i had fail this subject. Because of i have no talent in creativity? Or i had not study hard enough? But luckily, I have pass my "critical thinking" by the supplementary paper. In a nutshell, i realize that is me not enough hard in my study..Another thing is, I still have the hope for the talent of creativity! Haha..

Find an object to represent your friend?

Today lecture is teaching about association of ideas. What will you think about when u sees your friend? You can describe your friend by an object. And I will think about machine when I meet up my friend.
Reason:
Because of she’s always thinking about programming, so I think about machine.
Because of she’s like to think logically, so I think about machine.
Because of she’s like to research information about machine, so I think about machine.
Because of she’s interest on every type of machine, so I think about machine.
Conclusion:
She was a kind of weird people I think, because only guy will like machine but not girl. But she likes to go through on machinery stuff. Because she said “ I like everything run logically” even human..

P/S: Because of i don't know how to draw machine, so i find a picture replace my drawing

Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is the 2008 sequel to the 2005 film, Madagascar. It was produced by DreamWorks Animation and was released on November 7, 2008. The film was distributed by Paramount Pictures. It has been confirmed that the film is about the animals starting the plane on Madagascar, and then landing in Africa, and meeting some of Alex's family. The film stars the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer, Sacha Baron Cohen, Cedric the Entertainer and Andy Richter. Also guest voicing includes Alec Baldwin, will.i.am, Bernie Mac, Sherri Shepherd. The previous title was "Madagascar: The Crate Escape", which was featured on a trailer with Ben Stiller.

Story:
The film opens in the past, where Zuba (Bernie Mac), the leader of a lion pride, teaches his infant son, Alakay (Alex) how to protect himself. Alakay is trapped by poachers, and Zuba chases the hunters, but loses track of his son. Alakay's crate falls into a river which carries it to the sea. His crate drifts to New York City where he is put on display in the Central Park Zoo.
The movie cuts to the present, picking up where Madagascar left off. Alex, Marty, Melman, and Gloria are boarding an airplane that will be catapulted with a gigantic slingshot. King Julien and Maurice go with them. Midway through the trip, the penguins discover they are out of fuel, but manage a gentle crash landing in an African wildlife reserve. They all disperse and meet their species, while the penguins, Mason, and Phil stay at the crash site and repair the plane.
Alex reunites with his father Zuba, and mother Florrie (Sherri Shepherd). Zuba's rival Makunga (Alec Baldwin) intends to use Alex so he can steal the throne for himself. Alex is tricked by Makunga into choosing an exceedingly large and muscular lion as an opponent in his right-of-passage trial for membership in the pride. Alex mistakes the test for a dance-off, and is easily defeated. Makunga assumes the throne when Zuba, despite his disappointment with Alex, refuses to banish his son, and is himself banished along with Florrie.
Meanwhile, Marty joins a herd of zebras, but discovers that each of the zebras is exactly like him, which makes him question how unique he is. Gloria gossips with other female hippos, and meets Moto Moto (Will.i.am) as a potential mate. Melman becomes a giraffe herd's new witch doctor and helps animals with diseases and wounds. His new friends convince him he has "Witch Doctor's Disease" and has only two more days to live. Julian develops a following, particularly from the flamingos.
Alex and Melman talk over their problems with a zebra they think is Marty. Marty arrives and takes offense that Alex cannot tell him from one of his "clones". Gloria tries to warm up to Moto Moto in a secluded pool, but realizes that he is only attracted to her "plumpness". Melman makes the best of his last hours by facing Moto Moto and telling him to take care of Gloria for all the great qualities he himself sees in her, which moves Gloria.
When the waterhole dries up, all the animals panic. Alex sets out to find the location where the water is clogged, and makes up with Marty, who goes with him. They trace it to a dam that New York vacationers had built to support themselves off the reserve after getting lost in the jungle, led by Nana the Old Lady. Alex is caught by the humans, telling Marty to go back to the reserve and get help.
Meanwhile, Julien proposes the animals make a sacrifice to a volcano to bring the water back, and Melman volunteers. As he prepares to jump into the volcano, the giraffes discover that their previous witch doctor was only missing (now he returned), and that Melman will not die. Just as Melman is about to jump, Gloria runs up to him and asks him if he meant what he said about her, which he confirms without hesitation, making Gloria realize that her perfect man does not have to be of her species. Marty then arrives, and reports that Alex has been captured by the humans. Gloria, Melman and Marty head off the reserve with the Penguins using the repaired airplane.

Meanwhile, the humans prepare to barbecue Alex, but Zuba (who learned of what Alex was doing from Makunga, who wanted to get rid of them both) rushes in in the nick of time. Alex "intimidates" the humans by performing as he had done in the zoo, and the humans recognize him as the same one from the zoo. Zuba realizes the importance of Alex's gift and joins in with him. While Alex's dancing changes the minds of everyone else, Nana still intends to cook the lions. Fortunately, they are saved when the other animals arrive, dropping a life bucket down connected to a chain of monkeys. Due to a mistranslation through the monkey chain, the penguins think Alex wants them to slam the bucket into the dam, destroying it. Ramming at full speed, the penguins smash apart the dam just as Nana fires her gun. With the dam destroyed, the water is brought back to the waterhole. Simultaneously, Mort arrives at the volcano, pursued by a shark. The shark inadvertently sacrifices himself, falling into the volcano just as the now undammed river restores the water hole. Julien is impressed at how fast the gods respond.
Makunga is removed from the throne, being chased away by Nana after Alex tricks him into taking her handbag. Zuba offers to give Alex the throne, which he shares with his father. The next scene shows Zuba performing a wedding ceremony. At first, it appears as if it is for Melman and Gloria, but it is revealed to be for Skipper and a bobblehead doll found on the plane. All four friends decide to stay in Africa with Alex's family, as do Julian and Maurice, while the penguins take off in the plane for Skipper's honeymoon (with the gold and jewels the animals found while digging for water). The lions and their friends dance off back to the reserve.

My Comment: It is not nice for the Madagascar 1, but i have a surprise in Madagascar 2. I remember that when i watched Madagascar 1 with my friends, and they sleep inside the cinema. Oh well, you should know how terrible for the Madagascar 1. But I'm fair people, I give the chance again for the Madagascar 2, thank god it dint's disappointed me. Not bad movie in the conclusion, Marty and Gloria very Cute, same with the Moto-Moto~ It's a hard depression for the characters.
